“Chatting with your ophthalmologist”. Regarding eye health of the Portuguese.
It is estimated that 4 million people suffer from eye diseases, but more than half of this number do not visit a medical expert on a regular basis. Such situation leads to health sequels and consequently influences the quality of life.
“Chatting with your ophthalmologist” is a show broadcasted on TSF radio, led by journalist Maria Miguel Cabo who, in partnership with members from Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology, presents advices, curiosities and scientific data about eye health on a daily basis.
The show started on September 27th and seeks to answer and clarify possible doubts that may arise among the population. It progresses in a quick and brief way, by using a direct question. With different topics everyday, “Chatting with your ophthalmologist” is a great way to get clear and scientific answers. The interviewees are always Ophthalmologists and members of Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology. You can find all the episodes on PSO or TSF online radio websites.
